Mileage should be less than average, as I plan to use it for weekends only. Thats the plan, but methinks the + may get addictive.
Use a Pruis for my daily driving - 35k miles per annum.
Used to run a E46 M3 for work purposes, but the running costs and depreciation at those sorts of mileage was a bit scary.
Pruis is great for what I need it for - running costs over 35k miles have been about 80 quid sofar!!
with the cash i save on the Prius I can contribute to the running costs of the +

Should be ok then if you not using it for commuting.
I came from M3 as well doing 25k a year commuting (185k now on the clock) and I would have to say that the RS6+ has cost me twice the money to run as a M3 in the year I have had it.
Ive stopped using it commute now and lift share instead which is saving me £400 a month on fuel alone.
The bonus is now I really look forward to the weekends and driving the RS

Hartge I agree with you fully on that one - driving the Prius all week will make the 6 even more special!

I also had an M3 previously. Nice cheap cars to run.
Personally I can drive my daily car (nasty old golf) without pining for the RS6. I enjoy the 6 when I drive it, but I enjoy driving anything, it turns out!
Depends where you get your pleasure. In the Golf my pleasure is from knowing I'm doing 50+ mpg
You can't count the pennies with an RS6 I've come to realise.

looks like you have a cracking car there and its a RS6 + which are rare ! I have seen it on the Audi website - nice colour combo as well!
dont worry about the drc. i bought mine from Harrogate last May with completely new drc fitted as part of the deal. 2 months later 1 shocker required, december 08 3 new shocks required. its life with an RS6 i'm afraid.
Audi warranty is the only way to go - Camberley Audi look after mine and you'd be surprised how much they put through. I will be renewing for 1250 with 15k mileage limit.
one thing - check that the 2 year extension is still an all signing all dancing audi warranty with the exactly the same level of cover as the first year - I would also obtain this in writing from the supplying main dealer. Audi warranty is managed by Mondial I believe.
Only other thing to say is enjoy - you will, they are absolutely amazing cars which turn heads everywhere -people even flash me / thumbs up on motorways!!!
PS - I drive a C230- P reg merc in the week for work - the RS stays in the garage for weekends only !!

I have had confirmation from them (verbally) so far that the 2 year warranty is the Audi <5 year version. I will get this confirmed in writing at time of collection.
Luckily, Stafford Audi, of which I hear good things generally, are only up the road from me.
With the 6 being what it is, not doubt I will soon be on first name terms with the service department!
anybody had any experience with RS models and Audi Stafford?
