..which probably means if an Audi Centre made them an offer for it, they'd jump at the chance to offload it, did you ever find out Honahon?I think they have had this for at least 4 months+. I was hunting around October time and this was on AT

Not yet, I called back this morning but apparently he's now on holiday until Monday.... ummm..... fishy. I know one thing, if I was an Audi salesman, I'd be smart enough to keep an eye on these forums. It's too much for me anyway, just want to know if it's the same car. TBH, i've still got my fingers crossed for Friday Saturday.. on that note, he said there's an Audi specialist just down the road??? hope he wasn't around yesterday so he could nip down there and get any codes removed as he knows your armed with VAGCOM.??neckarsulm wrote:..which probably means if an Audi Centre made them an offer for it, they'd jump at the chance to offload it, did you ever find out Honahon?I think they have had this for at least 4 months+. Also, you'd think after 4 months they would of got the hint and dropped the price on this one?. Have you seen this other one? flying a bl00dy kite!

Yeah that one is a bit optimistic.
I do find it a tad suspect that he couldn't show me the car on the day arranged as if he was sorting something out that I might notice but that most people wouldn't. Better VAG COM it AFTER the test drive then
Suprised to find mine's got no armrest (boo) but it has a self dip rear view mirror (boo again - hate em!)

No worries! Worth a punt! Good look with finding a decent one. I'd veer towards black just through the vastness of Avus ones. I'm hoping mine drums up some interest in people who may specifically want a red one (if there is anyone in that bracket !!) You look on traders and majority are avus. I WANT to believe that colour has a bearing on price / saleability!!!

Just wondering about the couple of comments on here "bet Audi would've paid no more than 17k" and (something like) "They'd have paid about 12 for it and added a huge mark up"..... you honestly think Audi main stealer would even give £10k for an '01 RS4, almost regardless of mileage, going on our old friend glasses guide. Be careful, I see it that they'd just see you as one enormous £ sign.
All my opinion, of course.

Looked at and drove it at Luton Trade Center in August was £20k then with 64k miles. Thet took as a px against a Cayenne I think. I thought cambelt was due again at 80k and had only been done at 40k and didn't c any evidence to prove had been recently done (could b mistaken). had no boot floor and needed a tyre, also one of front corners of bonnet seemed very slightly out of line prob minor car park ding. Offered <beep> px too!RossS4 wrote:I think they have had this for at least 4 months+. I was hunting around October time and this was on AT

That's a tricky one as hi-tec was a no cost option so it's down to personal preference. All I can say it hi-tec usually wears a lot better.Well it's not fully loaded if it has the hi-tec seats rather than full leather!
I had hi-tec before and leather now, not really fussed which, wouldn't refuse a nice hi-tec car.
