I'm not that familiar with dogs dicks but then again I don't eat in that Highworth kebab shop :P
Nor do I

I'm refering to the unique way in which our cornish friend has renamed the colours of our cars :D

Cornish and subtle don't seem to mix

Yep Dog Knob red :D

Looks nice though Neckar and sorry to go OT and hijack, I wanted to utilise your knowledge of these cars and I thanks you for the information.

I am going to get service done and see how it is and then think bout the lambda and thermostat. Hopefully it's covered under the warranty for both items.

good one - best colour after imola - that pic's not the best - noggy is a really cool colour - looks different in a lot of different lights and has really grown on me (especially when polished up).

congrats for not following the herd and going for avus (yawn)

Bah. You're all missing the point. Ming blue or Goodwood green. Perfect for the surprise...

It always amazes me how people get piccy about colours and almost agro

It's the same car, it doesn't make it any better or any worse if the colour is different unless it's Pink :D

If everyone liked the same thing in the same colour then the World would be a dull place so I'm glad that there are the ones who stray from the "herd" and buy the wacky colours.

I'm with contigo on this, when i was looking for mine i had a slight preference on colour, but after viewing loads the avus one i purchased was the best condition, with a good spec.
As you say its the same car underneath, and i know alot of it is just for a bit of banter.

Regardless of this Avus's are defo best and if we had a vote avus would win, only cos thers so bloody many of them    :greyrs4:

Safe colour and it's nice as it's got the purple shimmer to it. As said, I didn't buy mine cos of the colour BUT I bought it because it was a low miler and mint car. I wish they did the B5 in Daytona Grey as I had the B7 in that and it just looks superb.

I'm sure all the colour squabbling is just banter!
I didn't choose Denim Blue it sort of found me (those who know the story will understand) and in this case, the spec and provenance (and value) were key, the colour was a bonus.
As for Avus, it a nice inoffensive colour, and I would have bought one if it stacked up in every other way, however the fact that there are some very iffy Avus cars circulating around Birmingham mean I am pleased I wont be mistaken for those

Or live in Cornwall.
Dog Dick is now the official translation of missaro.
There is a list on the other side to the colour guide.
