I reckon it's an NA 4.2 FSI V8.

With say another 30 hp over an RS4 just to warrant the cost / status of the new model.

I'm sure I read a while back in CAR magazine it was a V8 4.2 with turbochargers

Sounds good too and I reckon supercharger on V8.

That is the dullest, most pointntless car I've ever seen. I've worked out were they've fitted the extra 30hp in though, it goes in the place where you'd usually find personality.
Historically I've been able to think of nothing under 100k that would convince me to swap my RS4, I still can't.

Sounds and looks like a V8 engined S4, which I think is the best looking Audi currently available.

I think it looks like an s5 because they have been using an s5 test mule. Most beleive it will have some RS flared bits on. I personally want it to look like car magazines photo chop version.
