Seriously fast b5 rs4 avant.

Post by al'srs4 » Mon Jan 19, 2009 9:54 pm

Guys, I was casually waiting at the traffic lights by the Reebok stadium in Bolton on Sunday afternoon - like you do, when I amazed to see this fairly none descript b5 rs4 take off down the road like a scud missile. I'm telling you I have never seen a car move so damn quick, he must have been running no's or something. Was it you driving this demonic child of Satan? If it was what the f*$k have you done to it?

This car was going through the gears in split seconds, the noise was truely awesome too. I didn't get the bloody reg as the thing was moving so quickly. If it was one of you fellas I'm glad I didn't take you on at the lights, you would have whipped my tiny b7 ass, big time!

What colour?

I know 2 in that local, one Avus Silver (Gordon's) & the other Misano Red (Dave). Both cars are fettled & in top notch condition.

Dave's (dace on here) has run VMAX many times & i can't keep up with him. Think his B5 is at 480ish BHP.

Probably has a stratmosphere short shifter as well which does make changes extremely quick, almost like semi auto.

W8PMC - It was Avus Silver. Do you know what sort of HP Gordon's car is. Really it wasn't so much the speed of the gear change it was the speed with which the revs built up forcing him to change almost every second or two.

I tell you what he must have spent some time/money on that car to deal with the stress that was was under. Santa pod here he comes! he he

Not sure, but i know it's been well fettled.

His screen name is (flashyg) so just ping him. Also ask him about his big roundabout incident on the way to Donnington a couple of years back & tell him Paul says hello.

It was Gordon , he said would have had a race bu only if you were in a "enzo" or "zonda" as he says his is quicker in reverse than a b7 rs4......
