Okay, you got me. I was fishing.

I just have a faint recollection that satanschild was bringing the 1000hp S4 along (on a trailer - I'm guessing) to a meeting at the Halfway in November.

Maybe I dreamt it.

I'll pop over to the S4 emporium and have a look.

satanschild is having agro with his paintshop but still hopes to make the Halfway on the 22nd with the car in its finery.

Are we on anyway, with or without a 1000hp S4 drag racer to gawk at?

The RS2 has been running fine recently, so I can do trips round the harbour for anyone interested in how it was done in the old days of 1995.

Halfway between Newbury and Hungerford on the A4.

The name is from the days of horse drawn coaches; the inn is halfway from London to Bristol.

Still got it. I am doing the 'I need to sell it but am not trying very hard' method as I do not really want to!! I may put it on the AutoTrader and see what happens. In the meantime, I am still smiling each time I drive....

Also, I'm taking the opportunity to shift some of the stuff I have left in my house in an attempt to clear up. That means I'm showing up with original S4 suspension and a couple of good but large CRT monitors (NOT flatscreens!). They're all going for the worldly price of a drink for each of 'em. The monitors are too good to throw away, but too heavy to ship, so it's giveaway time.
