hey guys i dunno if it makes you feel better or not, but it cost me £35 to fill up b7 rs4 from empty to brim here in sydney australia.
you might think we are lucky but the cost of the car is about £20k more to buy here than there.

It all works out the same in the end

You jinxed it, Opec announced that they are reducing production, watch the prices start to rise again. Oh well, Tesco 99 still 108.9p :)

If you are interested this site will send you weekly updates of low petrol prices in your area, even better if you are traveling to somewhere you are not familiar with.

108.9! Blimey, it was 102.9 in Ingleby Barwick today for 99 RON and that is usually 1-2p more expensive than the station at Kingston Park outside Newcastle. Plus I see Tesco are doing the 5p / litre promotion on £50+ shop spend again this weekend, means 99 RON will be under a £1 per litre since..... I don't remember when.

As for OPEC reducing production, don't get too conerned about increased prices as it is primarily due to the oil market speculators now dumping their millions of reserve barrels on to the market that they bought when it was cheap pushing the price up so they could flog it back to the market when it was north of $200 per barrel for a healthy profit. However that isn't going to happen so they are offloading for what they can get to balance their books because of the global downturn. If anything it is a good thing because it means worl oil reserves will just last that little bit longer for us unenvironmentally conscious to drive our demon V8's around!

Audiguy, out of interest, have you done a consumption comparison with Tesco 99 against Shell super or have you noticed any power loss ?
Mint Optic Pack saloon in Daytona Grey (Now sold)
B7 RS4 in Sprint Blue (Gone to a very good new home)
Evo V1 (wish i'd kept)
Numerous M3s

All I know is the V-Power is now 2p a litre more expensive than 99RON and wih my 5p discount voucher from Tsco acquired today soon to be 7p litre.

Having run both Tesco 99 and V-Power I would say there is negligible power and economy difference but on a tank £4.20 price differential.
