Recommendations for repairing stone chips

Thanks to some ******* idiot in a Merc undertaking me on the hard shoulder of the motorway (we were all turning off, the c**k then went back across the slip road and two lanes of the motorway), I now have a nice line of chips down the side of my car.

Does anyone have any recommendations of a good stone chip repair company? I'm not sure that I would be happy in tackling this myself.

Have you used this before, if so can you tell where the chips used to be afterwards? Is it easy to do or is there any chance of cxcking up your paintwork?

In answer to your question, will it become unnoticeable – it’s a mater of time and patience. The more layers you build up the more unnoticeable they become. I only did 2 layers on a reasonably deep chip on the bonnet and to the untrained eye you would never know it there. Short of a respray you will never get a perfect finish but this is the closest you can get in my opinion.

Got to admit it is a slightly alarming smearing paint all over you’re pride and joy but the ‘magic’ formula takes all excess paint off other than that in the chips, this is what gives it a far better finish than using a touch up stick. It's so easy to do i would let the Mrs have a go! (It also stands up to a porter cable polisher afterwards.)

I bought a gravel rash kit though only had a few chips and have LOTS left over, Audi paint is pretty stuff so unless you have been rally-crossing recently you could get away with getting a smaller kit.

I also know of a GB happening for this stuff on another forum if you’re interested?
