RS4 Engine in detail - if you can read italian
RE: RS4 Engine in detail - if you can read italian
Why is there so many references to the Q7?
Re: RE: RS4 Engine in detail - if you can read italian
Because it's the service manual for the 4.2l FSI engine, not so much the RS4. There's two varieties of the engine for the Q7, A6, A8, and RS4, and the manual covers both as they're near identical.Attranac wrote:Why is there so many references to the Q7?

weird how the RS4 is a long-stroke engine yet it manages to do 8200 rpm
I wonder how that affects long-term reliability

on here somewhere there is a list of the differences and it is a long list too.Because it's the service manual for the 4.2l FSI engine, not so much the RS4. There's two varieties of the engine for the Q7, A6, A8, and RS4, and the manual covers both as they're near identical.
