RS4 B5. Where it all started.
RS6+ Never to be replaced.
Replaced by: 997 Turbo. Didn't like.
Replaced by RS6. I like(d).
Land Rover Defender. Not as nippy.
Back with C6 RS6
And again C7 RS6

You would have to ask yourself why they are very very rare?

I would say yes :)
and if you like green why not.
The fact in Germany is, most RS6 were bought by companies in the first hand. And companies normally buy black or silver or grey sometimes blue. So only some private people bought the other colors as seen: sprintblue, goodwoodgreen, misanored, and so on. So what color will you get? Right, the black, silver, dark blue ones cause the time for leasing is over. But I would prefer the cars in good condition with a small amount of miles or km without repaired crashes. With nice interior and so on and these cars are normally from private people not from a company.

That looks really good anf Goodwood is pretty rare in the UK. Who want's to the same as everyone else anyway? Is the V8 badging standard in Germany or have you fitted that Babsi?

Alan,

Go for the colour you like yourself, it you that has to live with it everyday (Personally I like Goodwood).
I tend favor the more usual colours for the rarity value of not seeing many on the road the same. If you wanted to play it safe and go for a colour that has a better resale value then you have picked the wrong car in the first place, with the way big engined cars are depreciating at the moment a RS is bought with your heart not your head :)

Cheers

Gary

The V8 badge was my idea. It comes from the new V8.
And in my oppinion a RS6 is never a decision of the head if it is in good condition, cause it's a really expensive car. Not only when buying but when driving to the gas station or to the service.
So just buy the color you like when everything else ist fine.
Green wasn't my first choise but misanored my first choise wasn't available in a right condition. I prefer cars in excellent condition, with very small mileage and from an Audi dealer and it is important, that everything from the original extras I want to have are inside, if it is not possible to build them inside afterwards. So it is an 4/2004, with RNS-E (DVD Navigation), one of the last RS6 before the Plus, with only 39000km that are about 24000 miles at the moment, with the RS6 PLus brake, the RS6 Plus exhaust and so on. A real rare car.

i like it. looks good on an Avant. There a bargain £17k one on pistons heads with only 29k miles on it, only problem is its up in scotland somewhere looks really good, I would have gone for that one if I'd seen it before I bought mine

also what steering wheel is that?? I thought I read elsewhere that the MFSW didn't come with paddles - is that not the equivalent on the horizontal spokes? Difficult to work out with it being upside down. :D

I'd go for the green! (Looks like British Racing Green to me). It looks cool and being a rare colour makes it stand out - almost every one I looked at was blue, black or grey / silver. All very nice but more common. I ended up with a Misano Red saloon - I love it! It does stand out somewhat, but hey what the hell - it turns heads everywhere I go and why not - if you're gonna have an RS6 you might aswell be noticed in it!

That is the MFSW, don't think that is a paddle you can see on the lhs maybe just an illusion.

Can see the rockers on the wheel though.

Agree with Steve - MFSW is the buttons on the wheel and an optical illusion on the left

I have a goodwood green saloon in the S6, not exactly the same but you get the idea. It wouldn't be my first colour choice either, but it is a grower and is a bit of a sleeper.. here she is... getting dropped off tonight for a gearbox rebuild.... only had the car 2 months too..
