ChrisRS4,

I have to say my F1's took a good while to get used to and I was mucking around with the pressures for a good few weeks to see what difference it made.

My P-Zero's were literally slick by the time I changed them and I thought they were fantastic in the dry...

I'm running 39psi up front and 37psi at the rear on the basis both rise by about 2psi once warmed up.

Personally I couldn't comment on whether I've got more grip or not...

I understand what you are saying Chris. I have thought ''is it my imagination etc''...I just feel more secure when driving hard on the F1's.

Even the wife thinks they are better...she now only averages just over 16mpg when driving it now...

If I was to go for a set of Pirellis do I want the Rossos (£217 on Blackcircles) or the Asimmetricos (£231)? What's the difference?

My RS4 came from the factory with Rossos - but I would never have them again (they only lasted 9,000 miles).

Sorry to sound lame but what's the recommended method to "scrub" new tyres in? TIA

I tried various tyre shops and of which Kwik-fit was the cheapest plus they had the tyres in stock. I hate using Kwik-fit which is why I stood next to the car whilst they were being fitted.

Kwick-fit did a very good job of destroying all 4 of my RS6 alloys 3 years ago and I had to take them to court to get it sorted. for obvious reasons I won’t be using them again!!!!
Current car..... hmmmmm????

A belated thanks!! Ive been running on 40psi up front and 38psi at the rear with a similar logic and liking them a lot.

Just FYI, Camskill are still doing 4 Vredestein 275/30/19's for £572 including postage...

I'm going for a set of these next...

It is possible to get 275/30/19's for £85 a corner and I'd love to know what kind of performance these tyres delivered...
