new S8 OEM wheels at the price of used ones

Post by youry » Thu May 08, 2008 9:00 pm

For anyone intersted please send me an MP.

Here is some info on these wheels which are proposed as optionnal wheels for AUDi S8s:

Ref AUDI : 4EO601025 AT
5 X 112
9X20
ET46
Center bore: 57.1mm
Manufacturign type: Forged !!!!!!

Weight : 12 Kgs or 26 pounds (so really light for 20 inches, lighter then some 17 or 18" cast wheels)

Finish: called bi-color at AUDI as the wheel has its face polished/varnished and the rest of the wheel painted in medium grey

Have a look at some exampel ofthese wheels on certain AUDIs:

A3 8P: (225/30/20 tires)

Image

On A4 8E S4 B6: (235/30/20 tires)

Image

On A4 8E RS4 B7: (with 255/30/20 tires) with 20mm spacers

Image

On A5 B8: (with 255/30/20 tires) avec 20mm spacers (special order to get the center bore made at 66.5mm rather than 57.1mm

Image

On A6: (with 255/30/20 tires)

Image

Price sold at AUDI dealers (without central caps) : 4602 EUR for the 4 wheels (+ 50 EUR to get the caps or reuse the RS4 V8 19 inch ones as they are the same)

Price for one set is at 2500 EUR, but if you are more than one interested I can make sure i see this price downwards

These are direct from factory, and are 100% new with ZERO defects
be carefulle as I have heard of some people selling defect wheels on Ebay at very low prices !!!!

last but no least we have also made some custom black paint job on the inner part(crazy thing to do and very manual intensive job), but the results are EXCLUSIVE... make the wheel look 1 inch bigger !

have a look:

I reallllllly like those!!!!

I wonder...

1. Will they fit on a B5 RS4, with the RS6 calipers (I'd imagine so given the circumference).
2. Would I need to fit spacers on a B5 RS4, if so, how big would they need to be, and any suggestions where I could buy them from, as well as the longer (locking) bolts.
2. Will they be stronger and resistant to bending than the OEM RS4 really bendy soft, and somewhat bendy hard wheels.
3. Who else wants them, so we can get the price down under 2000EUR

Sure tehy fit a RS4 B5. We've donbe it on a french RS4 B5 very recently in fact. you do need at least 25mm spacers. for this RS4 B5 we used 30mm spacers. no issues to fit any sort of brakes. we supplied the spacers using double nut system so no vibrations can happen, and the nuts are supplied in the kit to fix the spacers on the car, adn you re-use your OEM nuts to fix the wheel to the spacer.

in terms of being strong. knowing that these wheels are designed to go on an AUDi S8 which is far more weight than any A4, no doubt they are much much stronger than the 18 inch wheels for RS4 B5 (which are known, to bend like paper...)

here are some pics (Its a pitty customer did not want to lower the car hough, as like that it looks too high, + the tires are 245/30/20 and it would be better with 235/30/20 (and diameter closer to OEM):
