Audi RS6 Avant 39500 miles. Warranted until October 2009

Due to the pending arrival of a new car for my wife our 2003 (53 plate) RS6 avant is now for sale.

It is finished in gleaming metallic black with black full leather Recaro seats. Please see pictures on Pistonheads
www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/414603.htm

I imagine that most enthusiasts looking to buy an RS6 will know that the standard specification is already extremely high, but the original owner opted for a few extra options as listed below.

Electric Glass Sunroof

Cross Drilled Brakes

Electric Steering Column

Black Optics Pack ( all dechromed)

Tracker

I spent a long time looking to find this car and wanted an RS6 that had all the known faults replaced.

The DRC was replaced under warranty just over a year ago and is working perfectly.

The cambelt has been done

The car had a major service by Audi last month and I also included changing the gearbox oil.

All four wheels have been checked for alignment. Expensive but worthwhile!

Brand new front pads fitted last month. All discs and rear pads are fine.

I extended the transferable warranty from Oxford Audi in October 2007 for TWO years. It is a top level warranty and for example paid for the DRC replacement.

All tyres are about half way through their life.

MOT expires in October 2008 and I taxed the car for a year in December.

It has the wide screen RNSE navigation module and I have recently had the matching TV module fitted along with TV in motion. When having this fitted I also had extra cables put in place to allow a DVD player to be connected in the boot so you can play movies through the front screen. Please note that the photo shows the old navigation system which is now replaced with the RNSE)

The car is in good condition and is needing no money to be spent on it.

The car was originally registered to the Audi dealer in Aberdeen as the Managing Director's car and has two Audi enthusiasts prior to our ownership approximately 12 months ago.

It has been a great family car combining safety, style and performance. I would not say this is a car to buy if achieving lots of mpg is a priority, but realistically we get about 17 mpg in everyday use and about 22 mpg if cruising at 80 mph which is not too bad for a high performance estate.

Although we have a new car coming we are in no hurry to sell and will patiently wait to find it a good home.

I would welcome a call or email from any interested buyer, but must tactfully state that I would wish to achieve the asking price which I believe to be fair considering that the new owner will have none of the expensive items to do as they have all been done.

Thank you for looking
