Another DRC Bust - which Coilovers

Post by yan355 » Mon Feb 18, 2008 8:34 am

Hi There

2 weeks before I renew the warranty and Im sure the DRC has gone. Horrible knocking clunking sound when you go over bumps / potholes crap handling and ride vibration on anything other than glass flat tarmac. Car drives like a bag of bones.

Ive decided to go for coilovers as were going to keep the car for 2-3 years more and i dont fancy the big DRC bills.

My quandry is whether to go for KW V3 or PSS9 - we use the car just as a family car. It doesnt get driven hard other than occasional straight line bursts.

Im most interested in ride comfort and interested in your views on the difference if any between the two kits.

Also wheres the best place and price to buy them - im in the north west.

Any advice greatfully received

Cheers

Yanek

Sportstech in Derby Ilkeston can fit KW's, so can Grizz, he has PSS9's on his rs6 and has fitted KW's for other owners, hence should be able to answer the question with some authority.
Ebony Black Avant with Black Optics, Silver Leather and Piano Black/ Full Milltek - 100 CPSI cats and non-resonated! TVR for the summer..... and SL55 AMG just for the pose!!
