Russian M3 Dude - IF you do actual own an RS4 which is very doubtful and you think so little of it and think its slow etc why oh why do you spend so much time on here? If I had a car that I didn't like or had no interest in I would not waste my time on a forum dedicated to it! Its just plain stupid.

We all have a moan about our RS4's from time to time but 99.9% of us love our cars. If its as bad as you say then for god sake SELL IT! If like you say its on lease give it back. Just stop wasting space on here.

Back to TG who thought it was a good idea to put Captain Slow in the RS4???? Oh my god!

Considering the RS4 is driving through 3 differentials (Torsens at that!)rather than just one its certainly a great result.

Some details of the show are on the TG site: http://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/show/nextepisode.shtml

Don't forget that this Sunday is the Top Gear big night in, starts at 19:00 with another James May toys show:

This looks great - makes for a great sunday - even if our beloved RS4 comes last been rumoured!

Just watched the preview clip from the link above and discovered why the RS4 came last. Its not in the fast (phantom black) colour.
Everyone is unique, just like you and me.

Anyway it's not all bad news and highlights one of the main reasons I bought an RS4; quattro stability
A quick glance on page 107 of this weeks bumper issue of Autocar gives the dry and wet lap times of all the cars tested this year
Top of the pile on wet times is ..... the RS4, with the Merc nearly 5 secs behind and the M3 a pedestrian 10.5 secs behind!!
Even in the dry the RS is only just over 1 sec behind the Merc and that was on a greasy circuit as compared to the Mercs dry track.
Power is nothing without control!

Just get parallel to the kerb a bit further out from the kerb than is desirable, then shuffle carefully in a bit - it's not rocket science.

I miss the auto tilting passenger side mirror that the M3 three had for reverse parking

Even so, not a bad result for a 2 year old car thats no longer available.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
