Yes I have fitted a MRC FMIC. as well as a audi a4 2.4 V6 water rad which is bigger than the standard S4 unit and doesn't have a gearbox oil cooler built into it, better cooling. Also fitted 2 stand alone oil coolers to the car, first is a 19 row for the engine doing away with the standard water jacket. (Crap) and a 11 row unit on the gearbox.

I dont understand why there is not more Charge coolers around for the s4, the performance is far better than a basic IC, they must be able to make them, even with the tight space.

known people to run them on high performance cars But you need next rads to cool the water jacket and pipes. pump. but worth the trouble.

What sort of oil temperatures do you run at under different loads? How do you know that the gearbox oil is sufficiently low temperature? Where are these radiators all fitted? I'm intrguied by this solution...

Engine oil cooler is fitted where the N/S standard inlercooler was and the gearbox one is where the O/S intercooler was. as for temps. every day driving the engine oil sits about 90 when tracked hard got to 110.

When tracked hard your coolant temp was fine? That open licplate area must help alot too.

Yes I would think so. Wanted as much air as I could get to the rads and coolers.
