Fuel consumption
Fuel consumption
I remember reading a thread on here about this a while ago, thought it might be interesting to compare notes!
Driving sensibly on the motorway, cruise on about 75% of the time set at 78mph London to Southampton I averaged 25.6 mpg
My car is having a remap in the next few weeks and it will be interesting to compare.

i posted recently about consumption - having not managed the "magic" 25MPG, even with considerate driving.
dont think the time/mileage affects the consumption, or at least I havent noticed a significant change.
Have to say, I wasnt expecting to get anywhere near 25 MPG out of the car - amazed at some of the high 20's figures on here.
Are you guys with good performance running adjusted tyre pressures, or all extremely light??

Ahh you see there in lies the problem, the darker the colour of the car the more drag, the more power required to make it catch up lighter coloured cars!!!!reevesroadster wrote:Blimey, not that far out. I run 40 front and 39 rear.
