is the RS4 market a bit slow for selling at present or is it just me?

Every market in general is a bit slow at the moment. America sneezes and we catch a cold as the saying goes.

house prices are down if you beleive the media, Northern Rock are being bailed out or sold off and alot of people with cars are in negative equity and want out of their finance deals. So the last thing they want is a five or six year old performance estate car which isn't cheap to run.

Home prices are definately down on our side of the pond. According to a friend of mine in Boston, it's never been a better time to buy. We've seen at least a 10% drop in prices here in Denver, in the established areas. If it's a town with new construction, the prices have dropped even more.

Countrywide, one of the largest sub-prime mortgage companies, is laying off thousands of employees.

However, if you want to sell an RS4 and can get it over here to the USA with documented papers, you'll sell it for HUGE money.

I would agree that the market in general is slow at the moment,i have a few cars for sale that have gone quickly in the past but are now hanging around

Yep, there are a few documented RS4's here in America, last one sold for $75,000 USD I believe.
