V10 engined R8 ... due when?

Post by simmo » Mon Jul 30, 2007 12:49 am

Hi,

Does anyone have any specifics from Audi as to when the V10 version is due out?

The V8 version has so far exceeded the hype/expectation, which of course now raises the bar that much more for the premier version of the 'halo' car for Audi. Lets hope the boys from Ingolstadt and Neckarsulm don't "do a E92 M3" on the R8 V10!

Cheers
Sean

I've heard it could slip to early 2009, I've changed my order from the V8 to the V10, but will find it interesting to see what the OTR pricing is going to be - best guestimate is approx £95k .......... anyone heard what it will be badged ? R8 V10 ........ or what about R10 ????

Wont be R10 as it is currently in use as the racecar code, also hear rumours of a V diesel engine similar to the racecar as an alternative to the V10 petrol
