Rev limiter exceeded!

The Revo programmes changes the maximum allowable revs and this reigisters in the codes and on the newer models brings up the undeletable code 'rev limiter exceeded' this is waving a big red flag that will tell them you have been up to something!

Just wondering if anybody has any input on this matter?

i dont know really, as its been said by somebody else on another forum..... but obviously im sure its good information to share........ i wonder if anybody knows if its true?

I've never noticed this with my Vag-com. Where in the ECU code bank is this visible? Maybe you should ask whoever you're quoting about where this is visible.

Its just information i saw and was wondering if anybody knows about it, obviously someone with a detail knowledge of the Bosch ECU`s.

I`m sure its nothing to worry about... i will keep my eye out and see if anything arises from this quote.
