27 + living in 'the bronx' (L19) + 1 years no claims + delightful handful of mods + SP30 conviction a week after I got the car :-( = £1300 through Noel Dazely.

Interesting to see some of the Elephant prices. When I first got the car they managed to insure me for £1200 (with no mods). I got a quote for fitting RS6 front brakes, they came back with £1800!!!

321- SA1 postcode (rough inner-city), 10Years NCB, Clean license, Girlfriend covered too as named driver Fully comp with protected NCB, £349 Bell insurance (sourced through confused.com)

I used to work in insurace and had access to all the underrighting /risk data. My being cohabiting with my missus and her on the policy, my douing above £6k miles a year and because i thought very carefully about decribing my job description have all driven the cost down. If anyone is having a really rough time on insurance costs give me a PM and i'll explain how they might be able to help themselves.

26. 0 points. 9 years NC, protected. 400 quid excess. RS4 suspension and ECS brakes. RG18 postcode. 900 quid through Noel Dazely.

And I wrote off a different car a few weeks back in a very unlucky accident. Have a feeling my insurance is going to be higher in 40 weeks time. Fortunately, it was on a different policy, but still - best indicator of likelyhood to have an accident is.. having had an accident...

29 - 7 years NCB, WF6 postcode, 14K Miles per year and one x IN10 3 years ago (oopsy ;-) ) totally stock with Adrian Flux was £1250 - I guess they really don't like "insurance irregularities" (was a company car too) :-)

Never mind, wrote my first S4 off 6 months ago so got my moneys worth out of them - eventually! Quotes taking this into account come renewal time are about the same £1250.

Anyone added there mom to there policy? I used to work for an Insurance Company and adding a safer risk to the policy would bring down the price by few £100 as it means someone safe would be driving for some of the time.

24, 2 years NCD, no mods as yet. £1100. Bell direct, seem to be the cheapest for me. Live on the Wirral.
