CRASHED RS4

That may may be from down here, a local chap parked it in wall near Haverfordwest. I think the reg was RS04 MAD.
Bit of a shame realy....................... it was a fine wall

IF its repaired and "you" come along and see it for sale and ask for a history check for accident damage then the seller MUST declare it repaired? if the new owner finds out later its been smashed and then fixed I'll bet a big hoo haa will ensue. Surely a dealer or seller cannot lie about something as serious as damage repaired vehicles?

As an ex body repairer, this is not very badly damaged. May need a chassis leg, but other than that's pretty easy to repair - there is nothing special (material wise) about the B7 excepy alluminium wings and bonnet. The rest are conventional materials. The only issue is with the cost - I reckon at a guess, without putting it through Audatex about £10K to repair, so was it a good buy?...no not really. And if it makes a Cat C repair, then it wont come up on HPI or have to be declared. Anyway, if repaired properly the car should be fine. having said that, I wouldn't want it.

I bet the Carbon RS badge/sheild is not cheap ... looks like somebody nicked it as it is missing

I can only see this being worthwhile if 'niceone' nicks a RS4 Saloon and clones it ... just my opinion, thank god I have a Avant ..

If its not recorded on hpi it must be a category x or not gone through insurance somehow,the new owner does not have to admit to the repair if not asked,im afraid its very much buyer beware,many cars of around this value suffer damage like this and are repaired under insurance and DO end up on forecourts,dont kid yourselves that because you bought it from a main agent its a straight car,if its hot metal some will sell it!The cars had a good crack the door gaps have gone i wouldnt touch it especially at that money! Im very afraid that at a purchase price like that someone is going to lose an rs4 shortly if the new owner wants profit out of the car! Keep your keys under the pillow guys!
