Joshie's your man, but I think the AmD conversion is £ 4250 fitted + VAT (that includes downpipes and cats though)

Why to you want to hybrid the turbo's ?

Can someone tell me if there is a difference between the k04's on an RS4 and the ones used on other audi's?
Yes...........big difference, you can't just bolt on another set of K04's from another car as the RS4 turbo's are unique to that car.Another point worth noting is that there are more than 20 different K04 comp wheels used in various KKK turbo's,not only that but the there are many different turbine shaft configurations along with many different housings .
As for the cat removal............if you do this then you're likely to fail your MOT not worth it

I could send it to you and you'd pay after you get them, unpack them and fit them... I do trust you, you will pay for them after all wouldn't you

why bother going for KKK turbos.
You can get far better VFM going for garrett units.

Just work out your desired A/R and go from there.

I would of thought a pair of decent T34 units would easily give you 500bhp+ with no problems at all.

No cats = bad idea. as Paul says, instant MOT failure unless you put them on for the MOT, plus you would fail the random (but rare) roadside emmissions check too, resulting in a large fine or worse. You have high flow cats so why worry ?

The standard RS4 turbo's give 460 bhp in the modded RS4's, I've not heard of many S4 engines giving this, let alone more, silver bullet excepted.

The bloke that works on my car said that it is no problem to remove the cats and fool the ecu, but i need to know if i will get significant power increases by doing this

Tweaky the downsides have been pointed out, but it is worth mentioning that at the Bruntingthorpe day that has been reported on here, the fastest man of the day was driving a 996tt X -Pack, and he (Dazren I think) had also had his cats removed.

Cheers

My understanding is the RS4 turbos will produce up to 515bhp but are restricted by the exhaust and inlet manifolds so the max possible on std turbos is 476bhp

I have seen an S4 with 453bhp that was Rams

Think his web site is http://www.s4-mtm.com/

The problem with this route is that you will have to do a fair bit of plumbing and re-engineering as the Garrett units are not a straight replacement for the KKK units.
