Revo?

Post by TimJMS » Mon Apr 28, 2003 11:37 am

Anyone know of any agents in the East Mids area able to install the Revo code on my RS4?

Tried surfing their website with two different computers and browsers but it aint loading fully - hardly confidence inspiring, I must say!

Rang Forge who firstly informed me my local dealership would do it for me (WTF????!!!!!!) then werent sure if the Revo code was available for the RS4. Hardly confidence inspiring once again, I must say.

Or shall I just pop out and buy something for the X - Box instead?

Cheers

I'm happy with the performance. Also the way the remap is uploaded/switchable, is IMO the dogs...

Gotta say I'm pretty impressed, I think the RS4 remap is going to be 'something else'....

(Hopefully) Going to Well Lane on Sunday, we'll see what figures she gets.

Being a REVO man myself, I dont want to pee anyone off but playing devils advocate here (I like talking about cars) - Most tuners could make a car go very fast and have big figures by remapping alone, but is it going to be at the expense of reliability?

Of course things are going to wear quicker...

When I uprated my S2, I had a broken valve, twisted drive shaft, etc.... Andy is now having the same issues, and is having to compensate for the increased performance.

All the above assumes that all cars are free from manufacturing/material defects.

thats why I like the REVO solution. I can switch it off when running to and from work (when I dont need it) to lessen the wear on my engine (just hope its not the time I come across a Subaru!)
