S4 install RS4 intercoolers

Post by kamming » Wed May 17, 2006 11:20 am

Is it necessary to change S4 both sides lower and upper hoses when installing RS4 intercoolers? Or just change both the upper hoses will do......... Thank you for your input.

when converting to RS4 intercoolers you have to use both top and bottom hoses from either an RS4 with a piece of s4 hose at the joint to take up the diff size in hoses or use RS4 to s4 hoses already made for the conversion..

I would suggest getting the hose conversion kit from Forge Motorsports if they still do it. This has the 4 reducing
hoses you will need. You will also need to source the lower intake hard pipe from the RS4 (offside I think). I assume
you realize you will also need all brackets, nuts and bolts etc. I can recommend Dialynx for the install, they did a pretty
good job (relatively speaking) of mine.

Thanks guys.

I found APR kit is way too expensive. Samco seems more reasonable. May I know the contact details?

Try www.forgemotorsport.co.uk - they no longer stock Samco stuff, but might still be able to get the kit for you.

If you don't have any luck with Forge, try contacting Samco direct ... www.samco.co.uk
