RS4 Replica wheels

Post by JustinM » Wed Apr 26, 2006 10:44 pm

How do you know if these fit the RS4? There seem to be so many replicas available, but I am sure they don't all fit. Any clues?

ET and wheel size give the clues, you also need to know the stud pattern is correct.

Typically though (well, in every case I've seen) RS4 reps are 8J not 8.5J.

Why would you want replicas on your RS4? If you've got soft wheels, get them checked and replaced under the lifetime warranty.

Replicas are mostly made to an ET35 offset to fit to common models such as TT and S3. RS4 needs an ET20 offset. A replica wheel will simply not fill the wheel arch fully and you will need to fit spacers. My opinoin is you should stick to original alloys.
