Yup, they are (so are Hatfield).

Use http://www.eurocarparts.com/ to get an excellent price on oil.

Think I paid 80 odd quid the other week. Then Watford took over a hundred off for not using their usual stuff.
Quids-in.

right

Whetstone Audi £605 they supply oil
Chingford Audi £446 I supply the oil

they say it needs 10.1 of oil

so 12l costing me £105 so 10.1l of oil costs me £88

so Chingford Audi works out at £446 + £88 = £534 ..... vs. £605 = £70 saving

Can you not just haggle on the price of the oil at the dealers?

£605... fcuk, that's a lot isn't it.

No knowing what they're "really" putting in, oil-wise. Think Watford tend to use Mobil1 iirc.

Hence why I went for the Castrol good stuff And saved some money into the bargain.

Its an R8 and they jus see dollar signs
But to be fair cos its dry sump chsnging the oil in an R8 isnt as straight forward as the b7 as there are 3 drains iirc

Anyway, thanks Tim, ordered oil from EPC for £80 so i recon im £100 up supplying my own oil
