Go for what you want. Two very different cars.

The Cab is heavier due to steel body panels as opposed to aluminium ones and has strengthened chassis and A pillar making it handle not as well as the saloon. Also the Cab has a B6 dash and normal A4 (folding)wing mirrors.

so for performance and handling the saloon is better, is the interior the same in both? sorry if its a stupid question.

Dash board is different and back seats are obviously compromised compared with a saloon. Not the same quality standard IMO

Cab is a great car but not as good as the saloon
But for a 400bhp 4 seater V8 drop top its hard to beat
Sounds to die for with roof down and milltek!

The cab has a different dash to the saloon/avant, its the same interior that's now in the SEAT Exeo
Also, make sure you get bucket seats, as standard seats are the same as any old A4 cab

What colour u after? Have u seen the yellow one with ceramics?

For the 2 days a year you get to have the top down in this miserable country maybe!! :) Handling is v poor in the convertible version even more than an M3....Good for posing crap for driving imo.

Thought I'd seen that yellow one recently.

Can't seem to find it now?
Can only tell you what I've found with the S4 V8 version of these.
Heavy! 1885Kg apparently. Not really a track weapon either, much quicker models to choose from. But the noise...

Its not a patch on the saloon but it IS still a very good handling car given its a cab

I put mine round the Ring four up and although very heavy, the handling was good, but just lacked power trying to lug 2tonnes around!

And you don't need sunshine to put the roof down when u have a milltek, as long as its not raining I had mine down

I remember one freezing cold night in Dec, minus 1 outside, roof down, big coat, hat and scrarf, heaters on max ... Had one of the best drives of my life with that non res milly out back!

The yellow one is on autotrader I think?
