New Tax law?

Post by DNA540i » Mon Nov 01, 2010 11:52 pm

A friend of mine who runs a bodyshop told me the government are bringing in new road tax laws. he said that it's something like 3ltr and above engines will be £900 per year by the end of 2011. does anybody on here know of this or anything to the contrary?

I dont want to go buying myself a C5 RS6 if it's going to cost me a shedload in tax and plummet the resale because no-one wants to pay the tax either.

Dan.

So are you saying the pre 2006 cars are going to make a huge jump too?

aha, so the most any C5 owner will ever pay is £435. I think I can just about stomach that even though it's still a massive ripoff!

the dream is not dead!

I do love my Feb 2001 S4. £205 Per year. Let's hope it stays that way!
