Have you cut a hole in the bonnet yet :P

Nice one Woody. Let us know what it feels like compared to the S4.

and dont forget 4 egt sensors as well :bash:
been a bit of talk about the vw mafs being used on other forums because the bmw ones are supposed to be daft $$, interested to know how you compare because i went from the 1999 S4 to a 2001 E39 M5 and I noticed that the S4 felt a lot quicker accelerating because of the low down torque - might have been my imagination but the M5 doesnt give the same push from low down eg 2000rpms. But try shifting down into 3rd about 4000rpm and listen to that V8....

Also go to bm3w.co.uk and join up, you wont get jip for posting on an s4 forum about your beast!

It's the Pierburg maf as fitted to a merc or a vw depending which one you go for. The Bocsh ones a :dung: . I've just fitted a Pierburg on my :ban: and it now fly's... for a BMW anyways ;)

Sod off woody.

Only joking. Great choice, been looking at one myself today but only my mates, he had the modification bug now, learned it from an S4 apparently

Stick around, you'll miss us otherwise. :)

insurance for the S4 was with noel dazely but although the same group they refused to insure me..i was payin around £640 for the S4..the beemer is £700 so not alot more..
as for fuel i put in £40 quid on mon nite drove back from birmingham and have used it everyday since and still have just over 1/4 tank so much like the S4..
and yes alps it has a sunroof..its fully loaded and the phone works which is kinda cool..saves on the points and fine for using it whilst driving..
