Hi all.
Recently bought my first Audi... one i believe used to belong to someone who used to use this forum.
Black b7 rs4 saloon. Loving it! Such a capable car.
My wife and I are planning to go to goodwood this year for the first time and i was wondering if anyone had any advice for us?
Is it worth going for the performance parking that's near the start line? The other one is already sold out and since I've never been before i don't know if it's better to pay the extra knowing people will be walking past the car all day or better to park it further away from the action.
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received!
Thanks,
Mark.

It's a great family day out. I'll be going with my gang on the Sunday. I think it costs over £60 to park in the performance parking lot. The normal parking is fine. It's in a field but you still see many smart and very rare cars. You can get on the Audi stand if you show them your keys, they usually fork out free refreshments.

If there's a BMW stand I think they give the same hospitality based on a key; just borrow one.....

Start line parking seems to be a new thing for 2019. I'm above the F1 paddock on the Sunday this year. Very convenient to get back to car for supplies or offload purchases or coats etc.
Public car park is well organised, bit of a hike to get in across the car park but only 15mins. Can be very boggy and slippery if its been raining.

We've been for the last 3 years for the 4 days but this year just the weekend. It's just great up there so much to see you'll need a few days to get the most out of it. The super car paddock is a must and watching them up the hill. Food and drink is expensive and we always use the normal car parks. Enjoy.
