This guy does some great tests and is worth subscribing to, if you're the type who cares about tyre performance.

Great spot & thanks for posting.

Completed my first ever track day on Cup 2's yesterday (Donington) in the Golf R (all previous cars i'd tracked on MPSS) & the Cup 2's really are epic, however will require a little getting used to as the grip levels are so much higher than i expected so i'll need to alter my on track driving style a little.

Keeping with the Cup 2's for Spa & Zolder in early October & then swapping to a set of PS4's currently sat in the garage (car's on 18' wheels so PS4S isn't available).

Really interesting and informative. I had assumed the 4 were pants like the 3 were compared to the PSS.

Cheers for linking this Sam - his summer tyre round up (about six months ago) and winter tyre round up (last Nov or so) were very informative. I'll be needing a set of summer 18s in the spring for my just-acquired B7 daily, I've always been a Goodyear fan boy, but I'm more and more thinking the PS4 is worth the nod - especially as the price difference between Goodyear + Michelin isn't even as big as it used to be
