Price Guide for my 2007 B7 RS4?

Was wondering what my car may be worth as I am considering selling up.

I waited for a long time for a car with this specification, colour combination, history and condition to come up.

2007 Sprint Blue RS4 B7.

Specification:

4.2L V8.
REVO Stage 1 Remap.
108K Miles (will increase as used daily).
Full Service History, part Audi and remainder specialist (Euro Performance German specialist).
MOT'd until late June 2018. Passed last MOT with no advisories.
Always run on Super Unleaded without fail.

Private plate will be removed before sale and original plate BX078 HTA will be put back on.

Bodywork:

- Paintwork immaculate aside from if I'm being picky a slight blemish on drivers wing edge which isn't very obvious (flaking) and a small chip on drivers door. NO dents at all.
- Car has also had a two day machine polish and detail to bring paint to factory standard. Amazing job done by my detailer, the car has 6 coats of Swissvax Best of Show Wax and GTechniq coating.
- All four alloys stripped back to bare metal and refurbished in original colour. Two do have light curbing but not too obvious.
- Engine bay and underside steam cleaned.

Equipment:

- Standard RNS-E head unit with Bose Speakers PLUS Kufatec FISCON Bluetooth System fully integrated.
- RS4 logo'd mats throughout and boot mat.
- Interior in immaculate condition aside from some slight creasing on drivers side bolster.
- Leather Recaro bucket seats.
- Excellent Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres all round.
- Flat bottom steering wheel.

Work done during my ownership:

- 2 carbon cleans (regular) and also 1 carbon clean with walnut granules - engine cannot be any cleaner!
- All 8 injectors tested, ultrasonically cleaned and refurbished with new seals.
- All pre catalyst lambda probes replaced with new.
- Brand new air mass meter.
- Brand new air box.
- Various pipes replaced due to age and for piece of mind.
- Coolant thermostat gasket replaced.
- Brand new oil cooler and pipes week before last (and oil change).
- Brand new Bilstein B8 dampers all around this week (on standard springs), so dreaded DRC system has been bypassed as it failed this week, so no further suspension worries.
- Brand new Front Grill.
- New Boot trim.
- New windscreen washer bottle.

Work done prior to my ownership:

- Gearbox rebuilt by Birmingham Audi in around 2012 but no paperwork (previous owner confirmed via email this work was done) as well as new discs and brakes.
- New coolant tank.
- New crank and camshaft sensors.
- Carbon clean in 2015.

I am extremely fussy with my cars, both mechanically but also cosmetically and I think this is reflected in the condition. Any issue no matter how small has been rectified immediately.

So in conclusion - all in all a very sorted B7 RS4 with all the major issues and common faults rectified for piece of mind and to ensure trouble free motoring for years to come. The engine in particular has had virtually every part inspected and replaced or repaired where necessary. There are absolutely no faults with the car whatsoever aside from the minor paint blemish and slight curbing to the alloys as mentioned above.

Thanks
Alex

I can vouch for the gearbox work. It was owned by my son when it had a full gearbox rebuild as it was crunching into 2nd gear. Work was done by Listers Audi Birmingham under warranty in mid 2012.

It was a cracking car back then and still as good today.

GLWS.

I’m with my son right now. He may have some paperwork regarding the gearbox. He’s gonna have a look later. If not then he’ll pop into Audi and try and get it for you if they won’t supply to you.

Hi Mate this used to be my old beloved RS as my Dad mentioned.
I've had a look but can't find anything. think I may have thrown all my old stuff away
I have just called Audi and they said they will be able to provide me with something that states what work was done and when etc
soon as I get this I will email it over to you.

Its an 11 year old car now...exterior looks awesome...kudos for all the work carried out too, but i think 12-15k is where it’s money is. 12 for trade in.

Milage is really hurting these at the moment, usual story here in the UK. Anything north of 60k on a prestige car and they get hit. Its good for the buyer but not so good for the seller.

I'd benchmark it against others with similar spec and milage. If you feel its worth a percentage more than others because of condition and work done, then add what you believe is worthy, then you can position it as being one of the best out there given the age and respective milage.

Thats exactly what I did with mine, sold it in a week to the first person that enquired, for more than I bought it for 5 years ago.

GLWS.

Well, this ended up selling 6 weeks or so after I advertised it, sold to the first person who came to view it, for 16.5K.

Moved to a MK4 Golf R32 for a few months when deciding what to get next and ended up with an 8p RS3.
