Post by R-S-4 » Wed Jun 14, 2017 10:35 am

After this morning when it took 3 attempts for my car to start, i am thinking of joining the AA or something :kissmyrings:

Can anyone recommend a good recovery service and value for money please as ive never been a member to one before as my mate always used to fix my cars but he wont touch the RS4 and to be honest i wouldnt want him too as he is old school :biggrin3:

AA are/were offering 12 months free on their basic package if you get one of their credit cards. Good cash back on petrol as well..

Just look at AA or RAC offers on TopCashBack or Quidco and you will get the first year dead cheap. Then after a year change to a different company.

cheers, just went with AA, not the greatest deal in the world but at least im covered,

1. home-start
2. recovery anywhere in uk
3. if going on holiday then a hire car is provided so i can still get on holiday
4. car repairs covered upto £500

£20 a month, piece of mind i guess

I was looking for myself and Green Flag look by far the best in terms of what is included and they are definitely the best value for money. I don't know how good they are though and hopefully I don't have to find out!

This year I am AA.

Last year I was RAC.

Next year I will be Green Flag.

Introductory discounts FTW.
