Hi All,

I recently took the dive into purchasing a B7 RS4 Spec is as followed:

2006
69K
4 Previous owners
Sprint blue
Tech package
Nav, Bose, auto lights etc
Buckets
Flat bottomed sports wheel
Black head lining (some have grey?)
all the usual bits apart from a sunroof basically
full Audi history a part from the last
Front and back brake discs and pads done last year
oil cooler and pipes replaced last week

The car is in amazing condition a part from a few curbs on the alloys i paid £16,200, it would be great if i could gauge some feedback on this as prices still seem all over the place.

Some teething issues iv noticed are as followed:

1) Left exhaust flap is stuck, the right was initially seized but i managed to loosen it up and it works perfectly the left is moving but does not close or open on its own, any ideas to fix this would be appreciated

2) The second issue is that the passenger seat bolsters don't inflate when the sport button is pressed, iv read conflicting posts about this some say both passenger and driver bolsters should inflate some have said only drivers side?

Apart from that the car drives great! currently looking into getting some spacers fitted and the deleting the centre res from the car, if there are any other simple mods that members could suggest that would be great!!

Thanks!

You can delete number 2, as the passenger seat should never inflate on pressing the S-Button

In the B7 FAQ section there is a thread on exhaust flaps, so have a read through that.

Price seems fair but hard to tell without obeying rule number 1!!!

Most people just remove the vacuum hoses so that the valves are left open. I think that is in the link Sam posted.

Also yes, I had the grey headliner before retrimming it. Not sure what was the option here. The black is definitely nicer.

69k miles, amazing condition, only has a common stuck exhaust valve, £16.2k. Sounds a bargain. Sure it's not a cat c/d car?

You're right prices are all over the place... for many reasons. But what does it matter what anyone else thinks about the price you paid? You've bought it now, so it makes no difference!

Enjoy the car and maintain it well.

As Jony says... Rule 1! :thumb:

All HPI clear, bodywork is Amazing not a swirl in site, only down side is a few curbs on the alloys apart from that drives beautifully

Am i right in thinking that the Sprint Blue colour comes at a premium? (on the used market that is)

Just wanted to gauge peoples opinions really due to seeing similar cars priced 3-5K apart - but i do understand these cars are priced heavily towards their maintenance
