Hi,
I have my b7 rs4 currently in at Audi, it failed the MOT on emissions, Audi has told me its because of faulty lambda sensors, they say all 4 is faulty. Is it possible for all 4 to be faulty or would this be common???
Just thought it alittle weird that all 4 were faulty, no lights on dash or anything
€900 for replacements
Any advice appreciated
Thanks

Could be duff sensors but you can buy OEM sensors for 50% of Audi price if you
Shop around on internet.

That's very odd to have all 4 gone and absolutely no warning lamp illuminated. Ask to see a printout of the fault codes.
It's possible the car could have had the precats gutted and the front two re-mapped out, then one of the rears now failing hence suggesting doing all four? Either way, I'd want further information from the dealer before handing over that sort of money. If you had the previous MOT done by them before, you may also have had the MOT insurance included which will cover up to £750 of repairs. So worth checking out as well.

Sounds like Audi are tying to get your pants down.
Are you located anywhere near a good specialist? If so, I'd write off the cost of that Audi MOT and head straight over to the specialist.
4 failed lambdas sounds very dubious. I'd expect warning lights and a rough running engine if that was the case.
