I am quite excited, its hard to explain, I've had many cars, but some MTB bikes are Rarer than most of the exotic cars available !! Sounds silly I know !!

I was lucky enough to acquire this frame and build it, its one of 25 and you will find the rest in museums, or A list celebrity owned !!

Serious MTB owners will understand!! I have never seen one, or seen one for sale, in the last 8 years: here she is:

It looks like a Michael Jordan trainer disaster to me.
I ride bikes too but nothing exotic, being rare doesn't make it any more appealing to me.

Being rare doesn't make it good, it might be full of top end parts but it's still looks crap.
A bit like the Gumpert super car.

You more than likely only bought it because it was rare and not because you liked it, it's so ugly only its mother could love it.
I have what I like the look of, rare and expensive or cheap and common I don't care, it's what I like and it's for me, I don't go posting everything I have over different Internet forums looking for a pat on the back to make me feel good either.

True I suppose, buts what the point of keeping something very rare, rare. If you go to a car show it's nice to see something rare, like an F40 etc, so what's different here ??

There ain't many material things that really do it for me, I like going places, doing things more than having things.
I like creating stuff too, job satisfaction, I like teaching people to do things I can do that they can't, then when they can do it it makes me feel happy I've passed something on.
Amazing things in nature are far more interesting than man made stuff for me.

But how can you judge someone or there post- when you have no idea what they do, or what's important to them??

I know what you mean, there is a magpie making a nest, near as damn it 10 metres away from one of.my office windows, I find it incredible, the fact that bird is two and throw every minute for the last 3 days making its bed, but it's not forum material, thats Attenborough !!

And don't be knocking Air Jordans!!

I have a pair of Jordan 1's in a box that have never been worn (in the original colourways that earned nike a fine every time he wore them as they weren't all white as per NBA uniform rules at the time), another set of Jordan 1's I wear regularly, 2 pairs of Jordan 11's in white/black and black/red (the shoes he wore the year the bulls won the first come back championship) and have had numerous other ones too. None of the ones released since he retired though.

Each to their own though...
