Hello folks,
I`m from West of Scotland (Greenock - near Glasgow) and looking for a bit of advice / feedback.
I`m looking to get my 2006 RS4 serviced and previously not been happy with the way I was treated at the main `stealers` in Glasgow Audi.
I was wondering if anyone on this forum has had any experience in using the specialist `A` for Audi in Clydebank as they seem to get quite a good name from some people I`ve spoken to.
Failing that can anyone recommend any specialists around the Glasgow / West of Scotland area to use mitigating the need to use a main dealership.
Thanks in advance folks,
Stevie.

A for Audi are used by a few people on here and always heard good things! Had some work on my cars done there and always been top work and pretty reasonably priced.
Andy the owner is very accommodating and always talks you through the work on your car rather than just doing all the work and hitting you with a big bill at the end! Whenever I have been down there is always rs4's rs6's, m5's so they definetly have a good name.

They are brilliant & really know their stuff. I have used them several times for work, fitted my KW V3's, H&R arb, sorted out my reversing lights staying on & on Tuesday had a coilpack go down at 3pm, Andy Dunn (the owner) diagnosed it and fitted a new one even though he was snowed under and I turned up unnanounced, back on the road by 4pm for the princely sum of £35! They have a fair few RS as well as M and Porsche customers, use them you won't be disappointed.

They absolutely know their stuff but I found a guy in Kilwinning just starting up his own place, he's had my engine in and out twice and drives an Audi personally... passionate about the S/RS brands and a hell of a lot less expensive. As a comparison A for Audi quoted circa £3/4K for removal of turbos and refurbishment, my guy £780 + the turbos refurbed by a well known place for £680 which saved me about fifty percent. Yeah, took a wee bit longer but I have a kidney left for when the gearbox self destructs.

Sent you a PM with his mobile Jim, just mention me (Dave with RS6) and he'll sort you out.
