just got home from work and its gone!!!
1st time I've had a car stolen...
They got in through the conservatory and took the keys.
grrr!!

Sorry to hear this. I can't believe they are still going after these! I guess they are still worth a joy ride or stripping for parts.

CSI finished up now. Found some footprints in the conservatory and worked out they used a Philips screwdriver to get through 2 doors into my kitchen.
Didn't touch anything else, even left my ciggies!!
CID coming tomorrow morning and then the battle with insurance starts...
Having a pint to try and calm down a bit now....

keep an eye out for any RS5 bits as well!! the following is a reply from one of my old colleagues to my situation that i put on
Facebook:
"Feel your pain m8....thieving scumbags broke into my house last night and nicked my RS5 off the drive while we slept!, not a happy chappy to say the least"
and that's gone from round Northampton area..
ffs, whats going on!!

RS4 now found...
Apparently it had a tracker fitted which no-one was aware of incl. Audi. The police managed to get the tracker co. to activate it which led to a short chase through Merseyside. The thieves decamped...
Waiting to hear where it is and what state its in today.

Even if i got it back i personally would find it hard to keep it knowing it had been well ragged.

My only concern would be wheels and suspension. Both of which can be checked and sorted if needs be.
Realistically you're not going to damage one of these engines by ragging it. And a thief wouldn't be so used to the power of the car so I doubt they'd even 'rag it' as hard as one of us would anyway.
Glad it got found anyway!
