just standard spec
but to be honest not sure if I like it ,after owning subarus and evos for the last 15 years

I'll give it a week or two and if I still feel the same I'll sell it

it's a nice drive and nowt wrong with it but totally diff to what I'm use to

ive had Subaru's and evo's to mate but you will get more comments about your rs than any of scoobies and evo's ,ive had mine for 2 years now and still enjoy the sound of that v8 :blackrs4:

Disconnect the exhaust valves and rev it. That'll help sort out the sound. Are you sure there isn't something wrong with it like a vacuum leak? Any way of connecting a pc or tablet to see how much air its sucking in? That'll give you a good idea of any power loss problems without a dyno.

Yes. Even in sport mode the valves aren't open all the time. Disconnect the hose from each valve (behind the backbox) and plug the hose with a screw and cable tie. Takes about 2 mins and improves the sound as the valves remain open all the time.

Yeah ifs fine, no warnings or lights. Just block the pipe to makes sure you don't create a vacuum leak and maybe a bit of tape over the valve connection to stop any crap getting in. Quick cheap and sounds great whem you give it some beans. Most noticeable if you are standing outside with your foot inside revving it hard.
