RS6 Stereo (Navigation Plus) code help

Hi, my stereo packed up so purchased another one off ebay . However the new (2nd hand unit) has turned up but no code supplied , I have contacted the seller who is a Vehicle Trader / breaker and he has informed me he don't know the code. Wish I knew before I purchased. The advert did say the dvd is missing but not a problem as I have the DVD out of my broken unit !

So im stuck at the moment, I can send it back but pain in the arse wrapping back up and shipping etc.

So anyone got any ideas where I can get the code from? Tried Audi and they said I need the log book ? well i dont have the log book for the car the stereo came out of, its been scrapped hence I purchased stereo from a breaker / salvage yard, I also tried a few online sites but they don't appear to be able to find the correct unit.
