How many cars did you view before finding 'The one'

After viewing the 4th B7 RS4 saloon on friday i am starting to lose faith. Are there any nice examples left or maybe im too picky and have to realise i am viewing cars that are coming onto being 8yrs old, im just terrified of buying the wrong one and then have to spend thousands on it....

what is your budget? nice ones exist, but they don't come cheap...........

2 b7s .... I looked at one at a dealers too local to me which was a bit of a prize fighter but bought privately

4 - 3 were utter shitters, the fourth was the 'chosen one'
Don't be disillusioned though, no matter what you buy, I'd say you'll need to do some work on it to make it perfect.
It wouldn't be as fun any other way!!

As above , I reckon I've spent 1-1.5k on mine since I got it ... Still a few little hobbies to do

Bought the first one I viewed and that was also the first time I drove one!!!
Boom!!! 20 odd Grand handed over without a second thought!

Transferred the full amount (private sale) as I got on the train my end without even meeting the owner/seeing the car... Luckily, he and the motor were sat waiting for me on arrival after my 4/5 hour journey up, nice chap and car as described. Risky, eh?

Two B7s - both happened to be in the same dealership at the same time: a lightly specced saloon and a much better avant, which is the one I wanted and got. The right car seemed to come along at the right time so it was quite quick for me. No regrets whatsoever!

Mine was first one I looked at. I literally went weak at the knees when I saw her. Clutch, brakes all round and new gearbox over the first few months of ownership.
What makes it worse is that I trade cars so shouldn't have got so emotionally involved but wouldn't change her

Still looking driven loads of performance cars over the years but sill looking for the one!!!
will have my first drive in an RS4 next week so maybe that will be the one!!!!
