Goodbye RS . . .

So after 6 months I have sold the RS 5.

What an incredible car it was/is. Bloody expensive to run as a daily driver. Approx £1200 per month it cost me in total. Ouch! In total I lost just over a grand from buying to selling. Martyn at Bath Audi has been a great help.

Looking at getting a Polo GTI as my new daily and as something I can teach my mrs in.

I have confirmed my interest in the upcoming RS 3 and will likely be ordering one as soon as I can. Should give my mrs enough time to pass her test.

I will still be visiting the forum regularly but not as an owner.

Can't teach her in that. Too quick.

GTI is a balance. Allows me to save money for the RS 3 or potentially V8 R8.

Lost just over a grand and it will need tyres, tax, warranty all in the next six months so I'm happy with that.

He did offer me more if he could sell it for more than that within 30 days.

I just sold it there and then to avoid me changing my mind.

Sad day and an epic car. Looking forward to RS 3 order book opening. That should be bloody quick. He is letting me drive his S3 whilst he drops he home this week as well to give me and idea.

Good time to do it mate as he has hardly any decent cars. He had a whole line of RS 4s end of last month, R8s, RS 5s etc. He has one left and mine by Friday.
