Is higher mileage practical?

So I am a 10 months/a year away and having a conversation with myself....

My car will be used for company mileage and an average year is 25k miles with personal included. So I have looked at the new v6t S4 and it ticks the boxes but my heart still needs the RS logo in there somewhere...

I always buy ex demo at best as I am cash for cars and am looking at understanding if it makes sense to use the RS4 v8 option and put a good 150 k miles on it??
How do they fair on higher miles as it has to work 24/7??? (this is a no option ask).
Then and how much for chains (I suppose twice) - is it/mileage an issue for the car as a whole let a lone normal serving???
Does it make sense knowing i have to be safe every day on a motorway??

Does it make sense and not cost me the world and have to sell in a year at a loss and get a Vectra? (I'm not saying I wont sacrifice such things :D )

Please let me have your considered thoughts and concerns.

Errrrm, are the men with the straitjacket coming?

Are you really going to keep it 6yrs and put 150k miles on it? That's 50k in petrol, I love it.
Buy a waft-mobile A8 luxobarge if it's going to be mainly motorway mileage.

Nope I would only keep it 3 years and 150k would be a worst case... whilst there are a couple of 40k milers on the www... that concerns me as they are likely to need more fettling than a 60k + car that someone has loved and called george all its' life..

Called George... I like it. You'll fit in here. Get one with all the work done, look for a forum car.
