No snow in Essex, well not in my area anyway.

Was looking forward to taking the RS out tonight after seeing it hammering down all day in the city.

Nice photo by the way, car looks tidy :)

This was my car in an indoor car park. Strangely, the side covered in snow is the inside and the rear of the car facing the open was snow free. Huh?

Oh yeah, five with the dodgy coloured B6 Avant in the background

DK, I likwise always try and park on the wrong side of the road so I never risk kerbage!

Strangely the first owner spec'd the car from new with these wheels rather than the 19's so are running Pirelli P zero's. According to the the previous owner the reason they did it was because they wanted the SS+ suspension but was concerned about the harsher ride so put the smaller rims on so the larger tyres would compensate for it. I have since looked up the options that are on the car and it doesn't seem to have SS+ so could have just been BS from the seller.

I have just bought a set of 19's from a forum member and the tyres are sitting in the garage ready for the spring so these will become my winter wheels.

Love those 18s tbh, they are such a simple elegant design, pure Audi - and will be a million times easier to clean than the 14 spoke 19s! The ride on these cars is hard enough, never have I gone into a corner and though oooooh I could have done with bigger wheels and tyres and a bit more grip there. Now you have best of both, and those 8.5 x 18s will always be in demand by other RS4 owners as winter wheels when the time comes to sell.

Recently sourced an A4 quattro for my auntie, excluded all cars on 19s, hers came with those style 18s (same wheel, different offset and centre bore).

AU56KEY? I recognise the plate, maybe from pics you have posted, or was it a forum car previous to yourself?
