When i had my B7 RS4 i always supplied my own oil....3 times to be exact..you can save a fortune shopping about.
Used to Shop about and always use Edge 5w 30.
Same with my RS6....
This is at Teesside Audi..they never had a problem with it.
Piece of mind as they will just use VAG product anyway...not that im slagging it off..but ive always used Castrol.
D-K....have a ride to Teesside Audi saturday...you can call in at Revolutions Audi day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Milton Keynes do, very impressed with there level of service, although they've only carried out minor service work. Bizarrely enough Hitchin wouldn't let me supply oil a couple of years ago, so they lost the custom.

Stansted Audi let you supply your own.
Saved me loads whne I had my B6 S4.
Their comment was along the lines of "if it meets the spec, we'll use it"

Re: Which dealer lets you supply own oil
There seems to be much fun and games with customer supplied oil.
Had mine serviced (longlife at 53k miles) this week having rung both Watford and Amersham Audi. Watford said from outset they wouldn't allow me to supply own oil, whereas Amersham said yes. So booked in with Amersham ( double checking they would accept my oil with price reduction of £160) and ordered oil through amazon marketplace (Europarts) at £32 per 4l bottle Castrol Edge.
2 days before service Amersham left voicemail to remind me of service booking and oh by the way they won't accept customer oil. WTF! Irritating and time consuming phone tag then progressed (including disingenuous info about it being Audi policy not to accept customer oil, which I confirmed directly with Audi was bunkem) before getting to talking to Amersham service manager. Ended up with getting £60 reduction on overall service, but still not accepting my oil.
So left me with lakes of oil that I have got to send oil back to Europarts at my cost ( quite rightly from Europarts PoV). Made all the worse by when my other half took the car in for the service first thing technician asked was my oil in the boot. Seems therefore to be game of roulette as to whether you can actually get them to take your oil rather than a consistently applied policy from the dealer.
If I wasn't so busy at work and had the will power to continue negotiating with them, I'm sure I could do better, but frankly am left with a bitter taste in my mouth with the customer service I experienced. I get the fact these guys need to make money to supply their "free" coffee and marble clad reception areas, but feels very much like profiteering when markup on oil is high and customer service is so poor.
And just to make me more grumpy, following the service was advised that o/s/r shock showing a slight leak. So looks like more costs imminent, not that I intend to spend anything further with Amersham Audi.
