I'm used to a shyte gearbox from the R8 R-Tronic...

It does seem to be so we're than even the R-tronic even when in its fastest setting

For me its a weekend toy so I'll always drive it fast when I'm in it and that's when its at its best.

Round town its a bit dim witted and if it was a DD it would pee me off...

The downshifts aren't as good as a the R8 either

But, am getting used to the car a bit more now and wound it out to ,8,200rpm today as roads are dry and its very quick

Dropped it off to Drayke Fields detailing today so they can make it a new car again

Had an e60 m5 a few years back. Unbelievably good engine, but that gearbox busted my nuts as a daily car
Apparently you can 'learn' to drive them smoothly, but I sacked it off and sold it on
That engine though !

I take it they have more than one person doing the detailing?
