Most tuned C5s average 520-550, will dominate a lot of cars top end and against a lighter more nimble car will probably cry out for a very long straight.

So I'm guessing a very careful straight line from a rolling start.

Also most tuned c5's I know are running considerably more than 550bhp so it must have been a tame tune.
Sure you're not thinking of c6?

Really? You b7 boys should be able to tell the difference between the rear of a c5 and the rear of the c6. :sekret:

True. Usually see them sticking out of hedges just after a gentle corner.

Sooooo the tyre blew due to overspeed or because of overstretching... or we'll never know because the crazy Irish bsatard was expecting them to blow and he wanted to cause all that damage to his car?

It'd be nice to know, I'm running 'slightly' stretched tyres (255/30/20R on 9.5jx20) but I've punished the car on track and done a few very high speed runs. I'd prefer to be running 265s/275s 19s - I just haven't got around to it.
No matter where you go, there you are.

I'd say they were stretched more than a Durex featherlight on a black mans punishing tool.

255's fair enough, if you were running 225's/30's on a 9.5 then you're asking for some serious canal tearage!!
