Rs4 brakes

Post by rs04roy » Fri Nov 24, 2017 8:51 pm

Hi everyone just a quick question. I'm in the process of doing a rear brake upgrade, I've got all the calipers and getting discs are the next part on the list and here is the problem do I go standard or wavey discs. If I get standard then easy I just buy rear discs. But if I get wavey I would want wavey on the front and this is the question. Can I put wavey in the standard 8pot caliper? And what size disc could I go to with the rs4 19" rims?

On the rears the largest possible is 380mm with a 4 pot. Anything else is pure overkill. I’d be interested in the brackets for the handbrake calliper-let me know

For the front again a 380mm is the largest under a 19” using shims on the standard caliper and with larger discs. I’ve done this conversion myself on mine as JHM sell a kit.
I’m now looking to go 410mm.

Thanks fella I'm going with the 356mm rear. Just wondering what wavey discs I can fit to the front with the 19s
