Brake problems help

Post by D3855 » Fri Nov 25, 2016 6:26 pm

On my rs6 c7 witch I have had 1 week now there is something rattling on the brakes. Like a metallic rattle. When I apply the brake the sound changes to more of a winding noise. It doesn't always rattle only when have either been down a bumpy rd or over speed bumps it's like it's loosening summit up!

Spoke to the guy who I got car off and he said he heard that noise when he had the pads changed. He put apex pads in not Audi pads.

Any ideas?

Did a google on apec pads they seem cheapo pads and seen a few people complaining about them rattling in other cars. So maybe it is the pads!
